:: I HAVE A QUESTION ON THE ARTWORK AND SENDING FILES TO PRINT
Q: What sizes can I print with digital printing?
Documents – up to A3 size (420mm x 297mm)
Name Card – 90 x 54mm (maximum size)

Q: Can I print sizes bigger than A3, such as buntings and banners?
Yes you can. We provide offset printing for large-scale outputs.
Q: What type of files do I need to bring with me when I want to print my documents?

Q: How do I pass my working files to you?
You can either upload the files through our website here or you can always drop by one of our print shop branches at either Damansara Uptown, Menara UOA Bangsar, Wisma UOA Kuala Lumpur or Sooka Sentral (next to KL Sentral station).
Q: What are the typical problems faced with artwork?
We will not be able to proceed with printing if:
- all necessary files are not included on disk. Make sure to save all images and fonts together with your artwork.
- fonts are not outlined in Adobe Illustrator files.
- size of art on disk isn't in scale with final production size.
- Scanned/Digital images are too low-resolution for large format, fine line screen printing.
- Avoid using website images for print purposes.
Q: What is a bleed?
Bleed is a printing term that refers to printing that goes beyond the edge of the sheet after trimming.
Q: If I want a full page print with a bleed, how do I prepare my file?
When you are creating your print material and you want the image or colour to reach the edges of your document size, create a 3mm bleed on all sides of the document.
Q: What is CMYK?
CMYK is a colour model that is used when design and printing. It is abbreviation for Cyan , Magenta, Yellow and Key Black. With digital printing, our outputs are in CMYK.
Q: Do you print in Pantone colours?
No, not with digital printing. Pantone and other special colours are only available with offset printing.
Q: Can I please have a soft copy of the final artwork?
Unfortunately, we do not give out the soft copy of any artwork created at EXPrint.
Do note that your artwork will be kept in our servers. So we will be able to retrieve your artwork easily should you need to print with us again.

Q: What kind of paper do you print on?
We have a selection of good quality paper for your prints. These include textured paper and white recycled paper.
:: I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT EDITING MY FILES
Q: What does "artworking" mean?
Artworking means the task of creating the actual design or artwork to be sent to print. This also involves image manipulation/touch-ups, editing designs and recreating logos.
Q: I have my source files, but can you help me edit the file before printing?
Yes we can. But do note that if we edit the file, we will charge you an additional sum for the artwork cost depending on the amount of time spent on editing it. This will range from RM50 to RM 80 per hour.
Q: Can you help me to do the artwork but I would like to print it elsewhere?
Unfortunately, we do not provide artwork creation alone as printing is our main priority.
Q: I know what I want to print, but I don’t have the artwork or the source file. Can you help me?
Yes we can. We can help you either recreate your artwork or we can design it from scratch. For either of these services, we charge an additional fee on top of the printing costs. This will range from RM50 to RM 80 per hour.

Q: What is my turnaround time?
With digital printing we are able to provide you a quick turnaround time depending on the quantity of your prints and the finishing it requires.
To give you an idea, here are some examples of printing timelines:
1 – 3 boxes of name cards can be prepared for you within 1 hour.
10 page booklet with finishings in a quantity of 200 books can be produced within 2 working days.

Q: How long will it take to artwork something for me?
This would depend on what we will need to artwork for you.
For example, recreating a new logo from a visual would take an hour or two. However, designing a booklet or leaflet could take a day or two.

Q: Can I have my printed material delivered directly to me? Will this be costly?
Yes, we do delivery. Cost would depend on the weight of the printed material and location of where it will be delivered to.

Q: How do I upload an image or file to you?
You can email us your image or artwork files to exprintshop@gmail.com
If it is a very large file (over 10MB), we suggest you use online services such as sendspace.com to upload your files.

Q: How do I create an account with EXPrint online?
Go to the "Log In" page and click on "Register as a new user". You will be directed to the next page to fill in your details.
Q: Are there any benefits of being a registered user?
As a registered user, you will be entitled to special discounts and lower prices for our products and services.
Q: What do I do if I have forgotten my password?
If you know your e-mail address, but have forgotten your password, we will e-mail your password to you.
Click on Log in then type in your e-mail address, and click the "E-mail My Password" link.
Q: May I have more than one account?
Unfortunately, you may not. EXPrint will only allow one account per customer.

Q: Can I get a quote for printing online?
Yes, you can. Email us at info@exprintshop.com for a quote. We’ll get back to you within 24 hours to help you get started.
Q: How can I pay for my orders?
We accept Visa and Mastercard on our secure website.

Q: Is this site secure?
We are able to print anything -- business cards, leaflets, reports, booklets, calendars, company collateral, signage, buntings, banners and more. Q: Can I use EXPrint to print anything I want?
Yes you can, as long as what you are printing does not conflict with the Malaysian printing and publication law. EXPrint will not print jobs that contain offensive literature or images. This includes information that are politically, religiously or racially, sensitive. EXPrint will not be responsible for any infringement of artwork content.
Note that we also do not enhance or manipulate any official documents conferred by the government (i.e identification cards, passports, etc) or any other established bodies or organizations as it is unethical and against the laws. (State the law)

Monday to Friday -- 9:30am to 6:30pm
